Overview

The Art Matters Co-op is a group of artists who maintain the Prairie Street Gallery in the city of Rockford, Illinois. Each year, over a dozen exhibits of varied scope and subject are displayed at the gallery. The artists include painters, sculptors, photographers, illustrators, and fiber artists.

Mission

With an emphasis on quality, the Prairie Street Gallery hopes to encourage the arts, establish a respect for artistic endeavors, and create a stimulating environment for those viewing artistic works.

Friday – Noon – 6pm

The Prairie Street Gallery displays new artwork on the First Friday of each month from 5-9 pm.
